Next Steps for the Voter Approved, but Court Tossed 2/3 for Taxes Requirement

With (last Thursday's) long awaited ruling by the State Supreme Court striking down the five-time voter approved requirement first enacted in 1993 that tax increases receive a 2/3 vote of the legislature or voter approval, what happens next?

Alcohol ignition interlocks in Washington will soon have a feature designed to prevent others from performing breath tests for the driver. Starting January 1, 2013, a camera will snap a picture every time the machine is used, verifying that the driver is the person who took the test.

WEDNESDAY

Yoga at DSHS

Yoga meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the DSHS building in South Bend. Two types of Yoga are offered, including Chair Yoga (9:30-10:30 a.m.), Beginner Plus (10:45 am-noon) and Restorative Yoga is offered on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. (please call). Fee by donation.
