Raymond Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the burglary at Sagen’s Pharmacy (515 Commercial St.), which was broken into on Christmas morning. Arrested was Ronald Lee Smith, 52, of Raymond. Smith is charged with Burglary in the Second Degree and Possession of Burglary Tools.
Council members approved a $16,000 bid to repair Benton St. between Fir St. and Washington St. during the Jan. 28 Winlock City Council meeting.
The bid was submitted by Lewis County Department of Public Works and would involve crack and chip sealing the road and shoulders in front of Winlock Miller Elementary School.
